A HISTORIC collection of images from as early as 1860 up to the post war years. This extensive archive is devided into three sections. | |||||
THE MEDWAY
COLLECTION
Glass plate negatives, predominantly of locations and places in Kent, held by Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre.
Further images will be added on a regular basis.

This collection contains over 2000 glass plate and photo print images held in Maidstone Museum.
The images here have been restored in a lottery funded joint project between the Museum and Maidstone Camera Club. A project team continue to identify and add present day digital images of the locations shown.

THE WAR & PEACE
COLLECTION
The Rex Cadman War & Peace collection of glass plate images covers the period 1935-1950.
They show civilian as well as military personnel and equipment and include famous people on visits to Kent.
